Welcome to Lille! Before heading home to the States, Lex and I wanted to check out this beautiful city for a weekend getaway. Clarance Hotel became our home away from home for the few days and was located in the heart of the city. This post takes you through transportation, dining, where to stay, and what to do for the perfect weekend getaway in Lille.

Locations: Limoges and Nieul, France

Lex and I seek out a luxurious chateau nestled in the French countryside to celebrate our anniversary, La Chapelle Saint Martin in Limoges, France, where we immediately felt at home and the staff and owners treated us like family. Fine dining, beekeeping, a private tour at Bernardaud, a restored monastery, exploring the countryside in a vintage CV2, our weekend was filled with romantic adventure and culinary delights!

Location: Lake Titicaca, Peru

Discover Machu Picchu and stay in luxury at Inkaterra hotel! We rode the train from Urubamba to Aguas Calientes, taking in the beautiful Andes mountains along the way, arrived in Aguas Calientes, explored the street markets, hiked to the Sun Gate, and of course, the main highlight: Machu Picchu!
