About Us
Inspired by their love of travel, Alexis Corry, owner and designer of Lex & Lynne, and her husband Zachary Kappel welcome you to explore their adventures and findings from around the globe.
Alexis and Zach first crossed paths as teenagers in Vero beach Florida, forming a young friendship that would one day become a life partnership. Years later following Alexis’s move from New York City, she and Zach reconnected in Pittsburgh. The two found in each other, something more than love of travel, but the idea that a new experience is sweeter shared with another than in solitude. So, one beautiful ceremony later in a 12th century village tucked away in the hills of Tuscany, Italy, a new adventure began.

With so much to see and do in the Faroes we wanted to break it down island by island to give a run through of our favorite spots to seek out. We wanted to start with the largest island in the Faroes and the place where we spend a majority of our time when visiting – Streymoy.

Fine dining at its best, Lex and I were lucky enough to experience Au Pavillon during black truffle season and have documented it all for you on our blog.
Truly for the epicurean, the modern take on traditional Swiss fare is sure to be one of your favorite meals yet.
Shortly after our stay our friends at Au Pavillon were rewarded their second Michelin star.

Lex and I seek out a luxurious chateau nestled in the French countryside to celebrate our anniversary, La Chapelle Saint Martin in Limoges, France, where we immediately felt at home and the staff and owners treated us like family. Fine dining, beekeeping, a private tour at Bernardaud, a restored monastery, exploring the countryside in a vintage CV2, our weekend was filled with romantic adventure and culinary delights!

Lex & Lynne creates opportunities for women in the Sierra Gorda, a region located 7,509 feet above sea level in the historic mining town of Mineral de Pozos in Mexico, to fulfill their craft and sustain a livelihood.
Each knit is made in the comfort of the craftswoman’s own home, by hand, surrounded by her family.
