TRAVEL AND LIFESTYLE
Once upon a time we were world travel-bloggers and micro-influencers. Life threw a few curveballs our way and our passion for sharing experiences changed from 24/7 social media documentation to real-life story-telling amongst friends, family, and strangers.
We decided to re-launch our website with our new mindset: to be present in the moment and share the details when the time is right.
We are so grateful for you being here and while our catalogue of travel is short and sweet, we hope you feel inspired by our findings and experiences.
Welcome to our travel journal!
WHO WE ARE
Inspired by our love of travel, we welcome you to explore our adventures and findings from around the globe.
We first crossed paths as teenagers in Vero Beach, Florida, forming a young friendship that would one day become a life partnership. Years later we re-connected in Pittsburgh. We found in one another, something more than love of travel, but the idea that a new experience is sweeter shared with another than in solitude. So, one beautiful ceremony later in a 12th century village tucked away in the hills of Tuscany, Italy, a new adventure began.
Travel tips, references, itineraries, and updated guides; secrets and surprises, join us on our journey as we strive to explore and roam this beautiful world.

The Floating Islands and Lake Titicaca
Our last stop in Peru, welcome to the floating islands of Lake Titicaca.
The Uros Islands are quite literally floating on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca, right outside of Puno. The Uros people continue to practice and live life by their ancient culture. Their homes, boats, and the islands themselves are made of natural sources like reeds that grow along their shoreline.
We had the opportunity to visit with the unique Uros village and experience their way of life.
