Discover Montefioralle

Discover Montefioralle

On an adventurous, last minute getaway to explore Tuscany we discovered a small medieval town in the heart of Greve in Chianti. Surrounded by vineyards the city consists of small footpaths and there is almost a complete absence of any vehicles, making it the perfect place for an afternoon walk.

Farewell Fall: Woodstock, Vermont

DISCOVER OUR FAVORITE FALL GETAWAY
by Alexis Corry
November 21, 2017

Our most favorite part of writing this travel blog has been revisiting all of our past travels: writing about our experiences, providing knowledge, and of course tons of photo-taking for inspiration. One of our favorite fall getaways is Woodstock, Vermont; where we found ourselves spending many weekends there recounting our travels, writing notes, and brainstorming new adventures during hikes, coffee-dates, dinners, and late nights by the fireside.

I wanted to zoom in on this picturesque town, so we've highlighted where to stay, where to dine, where to hike, and sites to see. Tons of fall-foliage photos will have you eagerly awaiting next October; and some fall reflections along the way.

Lex's Packing List: Formentera

Hi there! Here we have my packing list for Formentera! Inspired by the small island's crystal clear waters, breathtaking blue skies, and mountainside, my packing list is full of brights and neutrals.

Layers, gemstone wrap bracelets that can be worn as necklaces, and leather sandals are always my staples; and I never travel without my Paavani spritzers. I love our straw bags, this round one is a particular favorite! And our unique kilim flats are always a must-pack. Go in luxury with my favorites.

DISCOVER LA GRANDE DAME DE LA CHAMPAGNE'S SUMMER HOME IN VERZY, FRANCE
by Zachary Kappel and Alexis Corry
August 25, 2017

Following our tour of Veuve Clicquot we’re met with the marketing director of V.C.P., a black Mercedes, and two glasses of champagne in tow, and we’re ready for our next adventure: a private tour of the summer-home and mansion of La Grande Dame de la Champagne, Madame Clicquot. Located just north of Reims in Verzy, the cuvee region of grape growing! The rustic French charm of this hidden gem is magnificent, between the architecture, style, and it’s grand entrance.

Inside the house is the original wine press of the Madame, dating back to the turn of the 19th century. There needs to be a drumroll as you walk through the house and on to the back deck because, wow, the view is absolutely jaw dropping!

Ode to Autumn

Ode to Autumn

Time has a way of quickly slipping away from us making it tough to really make the most of every single season - especially when there’s an Indian-summer nearly every year and Autumn doesn’t truly kick in until mid-October! Autumn is my favorite season, for many reasons, mainly feeling the cool air arrive and the watching the colors of the leaves change. The leaves slowly disappearing from the trees indicates that the holidays are upon us, and for me this is go-time with work.
Vermont Cheesemakers Festival

Vermont Cheesemakers Festival

One of Zach's favorite days of the summer season is the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival in Shelburne, Vermont; showcasing Vermont's local farm's products, and mainly my favorite food in the world - cheese.
