Welcome to Ubud! We’re jumping in to the highlights and adventures we loved most while exploring this one-of-a-kind jungle; and while you could easily spend a week - or lifetime - in Ubud, we found that three full days gave us a great grasp of the area and a feeling that we were able to take a good solid scratch at the surface of this jungle-paradise. If there ever was a hidden gem it is our discovery of Wakefield, Canada: the small, quaint, charming water-front town just 40 minutes north of Ottawa. What started as an almost accidental discovery turned in to one of our best getaways! We discovered the town via Airbnb when searching for unique stays and stumbled upon a boat-house! Little did we know we had stumbled upon a great find for all the little things! Dining, sight-seeing, activities, and more!
