Welcome to our Journal!

While we love delving in to our travels and adventures and including all of our details, itineraries, and the like in a single blog post, we also love sharing our day to day. We have been using Instagram as our daily-thoughts journal and felt it was time to start a journal on our website! 

First things first, I am going to apologize that our Made in America blog series has been little than that - I've found that I'm writing more and more about my personal findings and self-discoveries than I am small businesses and national gems; so this will (maybe?) be the last of one of my personal-posts, maybe.

2017 was a big year for us - we planned our wedding and got married in Tuscany surrounded by fifty of our closest family & friends; we launched our travel blog; we moved our menswear boutique and launched the new lifestyle brand Mick + Kip, as well as Lex & Lynne Bridal; we traveled around the world and explored South Africa for two weeks, quite an adventure for us; and we juggled the ins and outs of every day life - and since May, married life!

Our most favorite part of writing this travel blog has been revisiting all of our past travels: writing about our experiences, providing knowledge, and of course tons of photo-taking for inspiration. One of our favorite fall getaways is Woodstock, Vermont; where we found ourselves spending many weekends there recounting our travels, writing notes, and brainstorming new adventures during hikes, coffee-dates, dinners, and late nights by the fireside.
